Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has updated its schedule for flight disruptions between February 5 and 14 due to Aero India 2025. The revised airspace restrictions were finalized after discussions between Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), airlines, and Aero India organizers.

New Airspace Restrictions:

  • Feb 5, 6, 8: 9 AM – 12 PM & 3 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Feb 7: 9 AM – 11 AM & 3 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Feb 9: 9 AM – 11 AM
  • Feb 10: 9 AM – 11:30 AM & 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Feb 11, 12: 12 PM – 2:30 PM
  • Feb 13, 14: 9:30 AM – 12 PM & 2:30 PM – 5 PM

However, many travelers remain uninformed about rescheduled flights, experiencing multiple itinerary changes without timely airline updates.

A frustrated passenger traveling from Bengaluru to Srinagar on February 9 reported that his itinerary changed three times in a week, adding an unexpected layover in Mumbai.

Many took to social media platform X to voice their concerns. One user, @ubhar10, tagged the DGCA, questioning Air India Express’ delay in updating flight timings. Another user, @Vlsnse009, raised concerns about passengers connecting via Bengaluru for Maha Kumbh 2025, urging authorities to intervene.
