Bengaluru: After the State Budget, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is all set to present the budget. The State Government has allocated Rs. 9,698 Crore for the development of City. The grant has been announced.
Of this, more than Rs. 6,000 Crore has gone to the BBMP and the BBMP’s Finance Department is planning to prepare a Budget based on that.
The BBMP’s Finance Department is gearing up to prepare a Budget for 2023 – 24 for the implementation of new projects including providing infrastructure in the State capital.
Division-wise demand has already been received. In addition, the State Budget presented by the Government last Friday February 10 allocated Rs. 9,698 Crore for the development of Bengaluru. The grant has been announced. Out of this, projects worth more than Rs. 6,000 Crore will be implemented under BBMP’s control. So that amount and those projects will be included in the BBMP Budget as well.
