Bengaluru: The second terminal at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) will be operational on January 15. Star Air will be the first airline to begin flights from Bengaluru to Kalaburagi at 8.40 am and reach its destination at 9.45 am.
According to an official announcement, the flight will depart Kalaburagi at 10.20 am and arrive in KIA at 11.25 am in the return direction.
From January 15, all of the airline’s arrivals and departures will be scheduled from T2. Another flight, S5 101, from T2 to Hubballi is scheduled by the airline on Sunday at 11.55 am.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rs 5,000 crore terminal’s first phase in November 2022. T2 is expected to have a first-phase capacity of 25 million passengers per year.
