Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party would come back to power based on its governance, said chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday January 2. He was speaking to mediapersons after visiting a temple near the City.
CM Bommai said that January 2 is the sacred day in the Hindu religion and that it has been a practice to get the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. “As travelling to Tirupati was not an option, I visited the Vyalikaval Venkateswara Temple of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam and prayed for the well-being of the people,” he said.
Speaking further he said Lord Venkateswara will give blessings throughout this year. “Venkateswara means development and prosperity. In the new year, the state will experience unprecedented developments,” said CM Bommai.
When asked about the health condition of Siddeshwara Seer, he said that the Siddeshwara Seer identified him but he was unable to talk. “Apart from this, all his body parameters were functioning normally. He recognised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s voice, who had called to check on him,” said Bommai.
