Kushagra Gupta, a dedicated student from Narayana Co Kaveri Bhavan, Kasavanahalli, has made Bengaluru proud by scoring a perfect 100 percentile in JEE Main 2025 paper-1, joining an elite group of just 24 students across India to achieve this feat.

Originally hailing from Kanpur, Kushagra was raised in Bengaluru, completing his Class 10 at Primus Public School with an impressive 99.9%, placing third in Karnataka in the ICSE board exams. He later joined Narayana for his Class 11 studies.

In the first JEE Main attempt, he secured 100 percentile, and followed it up with 99.9 percentile in the second. His preparation strategy revolved around consistency rather than chasing ranks. “Our school held mock exams daily in JEE Main format. Practicing fresh questions every day helped me improve steadily,” he said.

Kushagra now has his sights set on IIT Bombay, aiming to study computer science. He puts in 12–13 hours of study daily, takes occasional breaks to play when under stress, and quickly gets back on track. His interest in engineering sparked in Class 11 through his love for maths and physics.

His father, Amit Kumar Gupta, is an engineer at Alstom Transport India Ltd, and his mother, Dr. Madhumita Gupta, is a senior scientist with Philips Healthcare.

The JEE Main 2025 results were declared on April 18 night, confirming Kushagra’s remarkable achievement.
