Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will become conductor on a BMTC bus to launch to free bus travel scheme for women “Shakti” on June 11.
He will travel in the BMTC bus number 43 which starts from Majestic bus stand. He will give tickets to women passengers for free.
According to the sources Congress think tank designed this idea.
Authorities informed that CM will travel for three-four stops and welcome the women conductors.
As it is an unique event, CM”s team expecting that it will send a strong message to the entire country.
