Bengaluru: Crores of rupees gold loot in City

Bengaluru: Crores of rupees gold have been looted by miscreants in the guise of Police. The incident took place in Upparapete Police Station limits when the miscreants snatched gold bars and fled.

Abdul Razzaq, a native of Raichur, has lodged an FIR against two unidentified persons at Upparapete Police Station in this regard. Abdul Razzaq and Mallaiah of Netajinagar in Raichur lost their gold bars.

On the instructions of the owner, Abdul Razzaq paid Rs. 56 Lakh and Mallaiah Rs. 54 Lakh. The two had come to Bengaluru separately on Friday March 10 to buy gold biscuits from Bapu bhai and Ajay-Vijay in Raja Market. At the same time, another person, Sunil Kumar, had also come to buy gold biscuits on the instructions of the owner. On the afternoon of Saturday March 11, Abdul Razzaq, Mallaiah and Sunil Kumar went to Raja Market. The three then went to the jewellers separately and bought the gold biscuits.
