Bengaluru: Fake marks card racket busted, 5 held

Bengaluru: Five persons have been arrested by the CCB officers, and busted a fake marks card racket. Police are investigating whether the five are a part of a larger ring.

CCB officers recovered fake mark sheets of 25 universities along with other documents.

Srinivas Reddy, the primary accused, ran Venkateshwara Institute offering a correspondence course from an office in Mahalakshmi Layout. The accused were engaged in selling mark cards from Class 10. They even had the mark cards of the engineering and medical courses. They had offices in different parts of the City.
