Bengaluru: In a big setback for BJP which is trying to consolidate its position in the old Mysuru region, former MLC Sandesh Nagaraj quit the party.

He had recently joined BJP from JDS.

“In cheating, BJP leaders are no 1. They invited me to the party and later made me irrelevant. They did injustice to me,” he said.

He also alleged that BJP leaders finished the political career of BS Yediyurappa, former CM and his family. “Now they are trying to bring BY Vijayendra to Varuna and destroy his political career,” he alleged.

He also said that over 10 BJP MLAs are likely to join Congress.

He informed that he is joining Congress. “KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar and former CM Siddaramaiah consented to my induction to Congress,” he added.
