Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday August 12 said that further action by the State Government will be according to BJP manifesto 2018 with regard to High Court’s decision to abolish the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and restore the powers of the Lokayukta police wing.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said as the party in its poll manifesto had promised to scrap the ACB, which was formed by the then Congress Government led by Siddaramaiah in 2016. “The High Court gave its decision regarding the ACB on Thursday August 11. Keeping our party manifesto in mind, we will discuss the issue in the Cabinet today.

“We will consider the instructions given in the court’s order copy,” he added.
