Bengaluru is preparing for grand Christmas celebrations, and the traffic police have issued a detailed advisory to help commuters navigate the city during this busy time. With numerous iconic churches attracting crowds from across the city, the police have implemented measures to ensure public safety and smooth traffic flow. A large police presence will be in place to handle any potential law and order concerns.
One of the focal points of the celebrations will be the Holy Ghost Church, located near the Pulakeshinagar Traffic Police Station. Given the expected large turnout, special traffic arrangements have been made to avoid congestion and ensure easy access for all attendees.
Traffic Changes at Holy Ghost Church:
Restricted Road:
Davis Road will be temporarily closed between the John Armstrong Road junction and Cookson Road junction.
Alternative Routes:
Vehicles traveling from Davis Road towards HM Road should turn right at the John Armstrong Road junction, proceed straight, take a left turn onto Viviani Road, continue straight, and then turn left onto Cookson Road to return to Davis Road. From there, they can take a right turn to reach HM Road.
Parking Restrictions:
Parking will be prohibited on Davis Road, Banasawadi Main Road, Wheelers Road, St. John’s Church Road, Hains Road, and Promenade Road from 7:00 PM on December 24 until 12:00 PM on December 25, 2024.
