The Department of Posts, Karnataka Postal Circle, unveiled two commemorative postage stamps and souvenir sheets celebrating India’s remarkable human spaceflight journey led by Indian Space Research Organisation.
Released at a special function in Bengaluru, the stamps highlight India’s progress in space exploration—from the launch of Aryabhata to future ambitions in crewed missions and orbital infrastructure.
Tribute to science and national progress
The stamp design also reflects India’s scientific legacy through the inclusion of Jantar Mantar, symbolising centuries of innovation and astronomical learning.
Officials said the commemorative release honours both past achievements and the nation’s growing future in advanced space research.
