Bengaluru: The High Court has rejected the bail plea of IAS Officer J. Manjunath who is in custody in a bribery case.
He was Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner (DC) when the alleged bribery incident happened in his office. He was subsequently arrested on July 4.
As Manjunath’s bail plea before the Special Court was rejected on July 11, he approached the HC. The judgement which was reserved on Monday August 1 was pronounced on Wednesday August 3.
