Bengaluru: IAS-IPS war, compulsory leave for 3 officers?

Bengaluru: The State Cabinet reportedly decided to send two IAS Officers, and an IPS Officer on compulsory leave over a recent controversy which erupted on social media.

According to the sources, these officers include an IAS-IPS Officer Couple, and a Woman IAS officer. The State Cabinet which met on Monday February 20 decided to approach the Centre in this regard.

Sources pointed out that the State Government believes that the IPS officers is reportedly upset over her husband’s friendship with another IAS Officer which led to this controversy, which now has affected the image of the State Government.

Sources also pointed out that Revenue Minister R. Ashok wanted to transfer the husband of the IPS officers from his Department for the last six months which was stopped by another IAS Officer through her contacts in Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi.
