In a shocking incident, a man abruptly stopped his SUV in the middle of a busy Bengaluru road and engaged in a heated argument with a female traffic police officer. His reckless act led to a massive traffic jam, drawing widespread criticism online. Responding to the public outrage, Bengaluru Police confirmed that legal action had been taken.
A viral video shows the man blocking traffic at Sai Garment Junction, ignoring persistent honking as he continued his dispute. Netizens expressed their frustration, demanding stricter consequences for such behavior. Many called for public accountability, while some blamed political and social factors for rising lawlessness.
The Bengaluru Police swiftly addressed the issue, stating, “A case has been registered under Section 132 BNS. Such behavior towards police officers will not be tolerated,” according to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).
Meanwhile, in another crackdown on public disorder, five youths were arrested in DJ Halli and Ramamurthy Nagar for wielding swords and performing dangerous bike stunts. The arrests followed a viral video capturing their reckless actions, prompting quick police intervention.
