Bengaluru: Man falls to death trying to hoist flag

Bengaluru: A 33-year-old software engineer died after falling while hoisting the national flat at his home in Bengaluru’s Hennur District on Sunday august 14.

The deceased, identified as Vishwas Kumar, who was living with his family in a two-story residence, fell from the second-floor terrace and was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead due to multiple injuries.

Vishwas Kumar and his parents are reportedly from Dakshina Kannada District. Kumar worked at a private IT company in the City.

On Sunday he went to the terrace to hoist the national flag. According to sources, he climbed the terrace wall to hoist the flag but slipped as he tried to tie it to the pole.
