A Bengaluru man’s recent interaction with a delivery agent has gone viral on social media, leaving many amused by the delivery agent’s unusual request. The customer, Reddit user yashwantptl7, shared a post recounting the bizarre moment after receiving his grocery delivery.

According to the post, the man had placed an order for groceries in the evening, discussing his needs with his wife. The delivery arrived on time, and everything seemed normal until the delivery agent made an unexpected request: “Sir, ek pyaaz mil sakta hai kya?” (Sir, could I have an onion?)

Puzzled by the request, the Bengaluru resident asked the delivery agent why he needed an onion. The agent simply replied, “Aise hi, khaane ke liye” (Just for eating). This left the customer slightly confused, and he jokingly asked if the onion was part of a ritual, to which the agent replied with an innocent smile, “Nahi sir” (No, sir).

After handing over the onion, the delivery man left, leaving the customer and his wife to speculate about the true reason behind the request. The man humorously wondered if the agent was collecting onions from every delivery to gather enough for cooking, or if there was some other, more mysterious purpose at play.

The quirky interaction has sparked much discussion online, with users sharing their own funny delivery experiences.
