Bengaluru: BMRCL has announced that metro train services will be extended till 2.00 am on Saturday December 31. This is in accordance with the City Police Department’s rules.
BMRCL MD Anjum Parvez stated that the last train will leave the terminal stations at 1.15 am or 1.30 am and reach the respective destinations by 2.00 am. An hour’s extension has been given so that people who attended parties can reach their destinations safely.
The Police Department has asked party throwers and attendees to wind up the celebrations by 1.00 am.
