Bengaluru: The BJP on Saturday February 4 appointed Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its In-Charge for the upcoming State Assembly election.
As per the party statement, K. Annamalai, President of the Tamil Nadu BJP unit, has been appointed as the co-In charge of the elections, for which both the governing party and the opposition Congress have intensified public outreach.
Pradhan, a senior party leader, has earlier been tasked with managing a number of elections.
The elections are expected to take place in April or May.
