On the 11th day of the drive alone, payments worth ₹3,00,25,350 were recorded, clearing 1,07,432 pending traffic challans. This brings the cumulative total of resolved violations to 11,32,991, reflecting growing civic responsibility among vehicle owners in the city.

Details of the rebate scheme

Launched on August 21, 2025, the scheme provides a 50 per cent discount on all pending traffic fines. It is valid until September 12, 2025. The initiative aims not only to offer financial relief to citizens but also to promote long-term compliance with traffic rules.

This year’s drive has already surpassed the 2023 campaign, which had collected ₹5.6 crore through a similar discount. The current figures highlight the increased impact and reach of the scheme.
