Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai condemned the murder of a BJP Yuva Morcha member in the Dakshina Kannada District and promised that those involved in the heinous act will soon be punished as per law.
“The heinous murder of our party worker Praveen Nettar from Sullia in Dakshina Kannada is condemnable. Those involved in the heinous act will be arrested soon and will be punished as per law,” Bommai tweeted.
Home Minister Arga Jnanendra said the place where the incident occurred is near to the Kerala border, and police are making special efforts to arrest the culprits with Kerala Police officials.
Jnanendra claimed he had discussed the incident with the Chief Minister and had given the police the necessary instructions. He said that a senior ADGP rank official will travel to Mangaluru to monitor the probe and take appropriate action.
