Bengaluru has secured the 13th spot in Time Out’s list of the world’s 20 best food cities, emerging as the only Indian city to make it to the prestigious global ranking.
The recognition celebrates the city’s rich culinary heritage, ranging from iconic breakfast joints and military hotels to contemporary restaurants, breweries and cocktail bars.
Bengaluru’s food culture wins global praise
The ranking was based on responses from more than 24,000 residents worldwide, along with recommendations from chefs, food critics and Time Out editors. Cities were evaluated on factors such as food quality, affordability and variety.
