Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said in Pune that patriotism was the best way to keep India united and that thousands of homes throughout the country have hoisted the Tricolor in response to the Prime Minister’s clarion call.

Bommai launched the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on Saturday at the Amanora Township in the Hadapsar area of Pune in the presence of C T Ravi, a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Aditya Deshpande, and Vivek Kulkarni from City Corporation Limited (CCL).

He further said that, “We must be proud of our nation. The nation comes first, and patriotism is the only means by which the country can be kept united and to take it forward. Narendra Modiji is a visionary leader that we are lucky to have. Crores of homes have been hoisting the national flag as a result of his call today,” said Bommai. He also praised India’s remarkable response to the Covid – 19 crisis.

“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which marks India’s 75th anniversary of freedom, aims to keep India at the forefront. This will act as the foundation for our preparations to ensure that India enters the “Amrutkal” in the next 25 years, following our 100th anniversary celebration in 2047,” he added.
