Bengaluru: Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Alok Kumar, who had clamped Section 144 yesterday i.e, on Tuesday, July 23 for 24 hours, has revoked the order today, i.e., on Wednesday, July 24.
Yesterday, owing to political high drama during the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition floor test, Alok Kumar had imposed prohibitory orders till 6 PM today.
He has revoked this decision since the police department has not observed any untoward incidents in the wake of the confidence motion process and also thereafter.
Bars and pubs which were closed yesterday will be opening today at 6 PM and function as usual.
