Bengaluru: Amid reports of several Bengalureans having lost their lives due to heavy downpour in the Silicon City, a video of woman trapped in a car and being rescued by the locals has emerged.
In the video which is being circulated on social media widely, the car is seen drowning in the rain water. Locals who saw the woman trapped inside the car, jumped into the rain water risking their lives and rescued her.
The video was shared by a Bengaluru resident Kiran Kumar on Twitter.

The incident occurred near Nayandahalli Metro Station on October 13 night.
Nearly eight people were killed due to the heavy downpour witnessed in Bengaluru on Friday evening. While four people died as a result of a wall collapse another four, including a mother and daughter duo was reportedly washed away and are feared dead. The rains that started around 6 pm led to flooding in several parts of the city causing traffic snarls. In some areas, residents vacated their houses and ran to upper floors to save themselves as rainwater started gushing in.
