Bengaluru: It seems, BJP invited one more trouble in the name of reservation. Following the decision of the State Government to implement internal reservation among SC and ST communities, Banjara community has decided to oppose the party.
In several Districts, hoardings banning the entry of BJP leaders inside Banjara Thaandas banned.
It can be recalled that agitators pelted stones on the residence of Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa in Shikaripura.
According to the hoardings, BJP leaders are asked not to enter the Thaandas where Banjaras stay. The agitators claim that their Thaandas are their State and BJP leaders are not allowed to seek vote.
Banjaras are politically important community in the State. Their decision expected to help the Opposition Congress to return to power.
