Bengaluru: The ruling BJP decided to use a similar strategy fearing that the opposition Congress is advancing with its two well-received announcements, which include 200 free energy units for all households and Rs. 2,000 per month for women who are the head of household. Revenue Minister R. Ashoka announced Rs.2,000 monthly financial support for all the BPL families which will be announced in the next budget.
“It will be implemented from July,” he said.
“Soon, CM Basavaraj Bommai will share more details about this scheme,” he explained.
He also said that the fundamental difference between Congress and BJP is that Congress leaders always claim that they are the leaders. “However, we including PM Modi say we are the servants of the people. It is a big difference. We are here to serve the people,” he said.
