Bengaluru: Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje is likely to be appointed as the new head of the BJP State Unit.
According to sources, the party High Command asked her to get ready to take up the new responsibility.
The party is also planning to give a major responsibility to B. Y. Vijayendra, son of Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa who has been denied ministership till now.
