Nearly three weeks after the body of a 17-year-old girl was found stuffed inside a blue suitcase near the railway tracks in Chandapura, Bengaluru (May 21), CCTV footage has emerged showing two men carrying the suitcase late at night.

The video, timestamped 11:50–11:51 pm, shows the suspects discussing before lifting the suitcase and walking down a deserted road toward the tracks. One of them later reappears in the frame, seemingly checking behind a tree before leaving again.

Following an investigation, the Suryanagar police (Bengaluru Rural) arrested seven accused from Nawada district, Bihar. Among them, Ashiq Kumar, Mukesh, and Rajaram Mohan have been identified. Ashiq Kumar is reportedly married with two children.

Initial suspicion was that the girl’s body was thrown from a moving train, but police have now confirmed that the murder took place at a different location. The accused transported the body in a cab and left it near the railway tracks.

The case was registered on May 21 at the Suryanagar Police Station, and further investigation is ongoing to determine motive and exact cause of death.
