A 37-year-old tech professional, Vipin Gupta, originally from Lucknow, has been missing in Bengaluru since August 4. Vipin, who had recently relocated to the city for work, was last seen leaving his home in Kodigehalli on his green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. His phone has been switched off since his disappearance, and a significant withdrawal of ₹1.8 lakh was made from his bank account shortly afterward.

Vipin’s wife, Sriparna Dutta, has been facing delays and a lack of progress in the police investigation. Despite filing a report and subsequent FIR on August 6, Sriparna reports minimal advancement, with only the location of Vipin’s CD-R being noted. Frustrated, she has turned to social media for help, highlighting her struggles with the police response.

The case has been assigned to Inspector Sunil R, who is expected to gather CCTV footage. However, Sriparna claims that she had already provided necessary details without follow-up actions.

The couple has two daughters, and Sriparna is pleading for urgent assistance, emphasizing that Vipin would not abandon his family and expressing concern for his safety.
