A Bengaluru-based tech professional recently shared her frustrating interview experience on Reddit, where she was asked to draw the Indian flag and the Ashok Chakra using CSS, despite her 10 years of experience in frontend technologies. The interview was held at a small company near her home, and she expected questions related to real-world scenarios and advanced concepts, but instead faced theoretical and basic tasks.
After completing the flag and Ashok Chakra, she was further asked to add the intricate spikes within the Chakra, which led her to walk out, deeming the question absurd and irrelevant for her experience level. When questioned, the interviewer explained that it was meant to test her knowledge.
Many Reddit users sympathized with her, agreeing that such tasks were more suitable for freshers, while others speculated that the interviewer might have been testing her patience and temperament.
