In a bold move to ensure public safety and curb public nuisances, the Bengaluru Traffic Police conducted a special operation targeting private bus drivers on Saturday. The operation resulted in the inspection of 2,057 private buses in just one day, with six drivers found to be under the influence of alcohol while driving.
Additionally, 712 cases were registered against drivers for playing loud noises, causing public disturbance. This crackdown is part of a larger effort to address public nuisances, according to Joint Commissioner of Police M.N. Anucheth.
