The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) have launched a new and improved website, https://btp.karnataka.gov.in, aimed at providing a more user-friendly and efficient platform for citizens. The revamped website was unveiled on Friday by City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, and it promises a streamlined experience with easier navigation, updated features, and a fresh look.
The site is divided into three primary sections: Traffic Management, Enforcement, and Road Safety. Key features include options to report traffic violations, register complaints and suggestions, and conveniently pay traffic fines and dispute challans. It also offers real-time traffic updates, helping users navigate Bengaluru with ease.
One of the website’s standout features is the “Traffic Situation Map,” which provides live data on traffic congestion, road closures, and diversions, offering real-time updates. Additionally, the ‘Navigate Bengaluru’ tool helps users find optimal routes based on live traffic conditions.
Developed by the Centre for e-Governance, Government of Karnataka, the new website also includes timely traffic alerts and news to keep citizens informed.
This initiative is part of BTP’s efforts to improve traffic management and enhance public convenience by leveraging modern technology.
