Bengaluru: Starting May 1, South Western Railway will implement changes to the schedule and speeds of select express trains. The affected services include the KSR Bengaluru–Dharwad Siddaganga Daily Express (Train No. 12725), Dharwad–KSR Bengaluru Siddaganga Daily Express (12726), and Chikkamagaluru–Yeshwantpur Daily Express (16239).

Summer Holiday Special to Kanpur
In response to increased travel demand during the summer break, Indian Railways will operate a special train between SMVT Bengaluru and Kanpur Central.
Train No. 04131 will depart Kanpur Central every Sunday at 7:50 PM, starting immediately and continuing until June 1. The train will arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 6:30 PM the following Tuesday.
For the return journey, Train No. 04132 will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 7:10 AM every Wednesday from April 30 to June 4, reaching Kanpur Central at 2:00 AM on Friday.
The special service will halt at major stations including Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Shankargarh, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, Ballarshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Bellampalli, Manchiryal, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Bangarapet, and KR Puram in both directions.
