Bengaluru: The police have filed a FIR against 11 persons, days after videos of the three suspects in the murder of Harsha speaking to their friends and families went viral on social media.
The pictures allegedly showed the accused in the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Harsha receiving special treatment inside Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Harsha’s family expressed their discontent and claimed that the system had betrayed them.
In response to the backlash, the jail authorities held a surprise inspection to find out how the accused got the mobile devices.
Harsha (28), a Bajrang Dal activist, was murdered on February 20. In connection with the case, ten people have so far been arrested and charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
