Bengaluru: Family feud has escalated in JD (S), with first family of the Former Prime Minister and Party Supremo H. D. Deve Gowda’s elder son H. D. Revanna warning that he will not contest from family bastion Holenarasipura if his wife is declined Hassan ticket.
His wife Bhavani Revanna wants to contest from Hassan. However, Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy is not ready to field her from Hassan.
According to sources Revanna communicated his decision to Deve Gowda, through his brother Balakrishne Gowda.
Deve Gowda reportedly advised him to wait till a final decision is taken.
Meanwhile, Former CM HD Kumaraswamy made it clear that no one can blackmail him in connection with Hassan constituency ticket.
“I will not budge to any kind of pressure or blackmail,” he stated in Bengaluru when asked about alleged pressure tactics followed by Revanna couple to get Hassan ticket.
