A woman residing in Bengaluru has accused her friend and two other men of sexually assaulting her, intimidating her, and stealing her belongings, including household appliances.

According to her complaint, the incident occurred near the Parappana Agrahara area a few days ago. She stated that the three men allegedly raped her and forced her under threat to transfer money from her account. The suspects reportedly used the funds to gamble on a betting platform.

After coercing her into sending the money, the men allegedly seized her mobile phone. They also stole her refrigerator and washing machine before fleeing the premises.

Police have filed a first information report (FIR) and confirmed that an investigation is underway to establish the accuracy of the woman’s statements. Officials noted that some of the individuals named in the complaint are being questioned in connection with the case.

A senior officer said inquiries are ongoing to verify the sequence of events and recover the stolen items. Authorities also indicated that the motive behind the theft and extortion is being examined, alongside the allegations of sexual violence.

The case has raised serious concerns about the safety of women and the rising number of crimes involving digital extortion and physical intimidation. Investigators emphasized that further action will be based on evidence gathered during the probe.
