Bengaluru: Woman duped of Rs 7L on pretext of part time work

Bengaluru: A cyber fraudster has duped a woman of Rs 7.10 Lakh on the pretext that she will get more money by working part-time and also investing money.

Rajani (33), a resident of Jakkur, has lodged a case in this regard at CEN Police Station in North-East division.
On March 31, an unidentified person had sent a message to Rajini’s mobile saying that she would get more profits if she invested in part time work. He has also added Rajini to a WhatsApp group called Jeevitha 22.

Rajini was then given a few tasks and after completing them, she paid Rs 7.10 Lakh in a phased manner to him. Since then, neither the work nor the investment money has been returned. Rajini immediately lodged a complaint with the CEB Police Station in the North-East division. Police said that investigation is on
