Bengaluru: Varuna MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has urged his father to contest from Varuna, the family home turf.
“2023 Assembly election will be his last Assembly election. So, I urge him to contest from Varuna itself,” he said.
It can be recalled that Siddaramaiah announced that he will contest from the Kolar constituency in the upcoming election.
“Varuna voters want him to contest from their constituency. I also communicated the same to him,” he said.
“Siddaramaiah has been invited to contest from several constituencies across the State. There is no truth in the allegations that he has no safe constituency,” he said.
