Bengaluru: The National School of Drama (NSD) is currently hosting the renowned Bharat Rang Mahotsav (BRM), also known as ‘Bharangam’—the world’s largest theatre festival. Organized in partnership with the Karnataka Nataka Academy, this grand celebration of performing arts commenced on February 1 and will continue until February 8, as per the event coordinators.
The theme for this year, ‘One Expression, Supreme Creation,’ highlights the festival’s core message—unity in artistic expression and the shared essence of creativity. Acclaimed actor and NSD alumnus Rajpal Yadav has been designated as the Rang Doot (Festival Ambassador) for this edition.
Audiences can look forward to an exciting lineup of theatrical masterpieces, including:
🎭 ‘Mai Ri Main Ka Se Kahun’ – penned by Vijaydan Detha
🎭 ‘Taj Mahal ka Tender’ – written by Ajay Shukla
