Biker hits flyover parapet, plunges to death

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old two-wheeler rider was killed after his speeding vehicle hit the parapet wall of the City Market flyover, hurling him to the ground on Tuesday morning.The police have identified the victim as Rupesh Raj, a resident of Nayandahalli and was working at a call centre at Viveknagar. He was returning home from his workplace when the accident took place at around 7 am.

The police suspect the two-wheeler was moving at speed of at least 80 kmph and the vehicle brushed against the parapet wall near Rayan Circle.

The passersby informed the police stating that a man had committed suicide by jumping from the flyover. The police visited the spot and found the victim’s two-wheeler on the flyover.
