The annual International Jawa Yezdi Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of July every year. It celebrates the legacy of the motorbike manufactured by the Ideal Jawa Company in Mysore till 1996, when the company shut down.

Jawa is one of the most rugged bikes I have ever seen”, said BJYMC club co-founder Brian Ammanna and we aim to keep the legacy alive, he stressed.

The annual Jawa meet is said to help bike lovers to come and witness the variety of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles, something that they may not be able to do otherwise.
