Bengaluru: The CCB police made a second arrest in the controversial BitCoin ATM row in the city.
According to the police, the arrested person is identified as V Sathvik. hailing from Tumakuru, who is the co-founder of Unocoin, which set up the first bitcoin ATM in the city.
On Tuesday, police had arrested company’s co-founder Harish BN (37), a resident of Tumakuru.
It can be recalled that in India, the RBI has not given its nod for use of bitcoin and has been cracking down on the digital currency. Unocoin has set up the bitcoin ATM kiosk in the city’s Kempfort Mall.
