Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s erstwhile district president of Hassan, Yoga Ramesh joined the Congress party, here on Thursday, March 28.
He joined the party officially in the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office on Queens Road.
Former chief minister and Chairman of Government-alliance Coordination Committee, Siddaramaiah welcomed Ramesh into the party.
MLA Zameer Ahmed, AICC Secretary P C Vishnunath, District Congress President Javagal Manjunath, KPCC Women’s Wing President Pushpa Amarnath and other leaders were present.
