Bengaluru: The BJP state unit has decided to drop the efforts of pulling down the JDS- Congress government. Instead, it has decided to concentrate on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
According to the sources, party state unit president BS Yeddyurappa communicated the party’s decision in this regard to the four Congress rebel MLAs.
“As of now only Umesh Jadhav will quit the Congress, while the rest of the rebels have decided to buy time,” said sources close to BSY.
“The plan is to wait till the formation of the new central government. The BJP, as well as BSY, are confident. After the new Lok Sabha is formed, the BJP will take up the Operation Kamala again,” said sources.
Besides this, the BJP sources say that Prime Minister Modi and party national president Amit Shah have given Mission 20+ target for BSY to re-launch the Operation Kamala after Lok Sabha election. “The BJP leaders have assured all the financial support required for the election preparations,” he concluded.
