Bengaluru: BJP MP from Mysuru, Pratap Simha received death threat on facebook on Tuesday, November 10
Simha had alleged that state government is spreading hatred in the society by celebrating Tippu birth anniversary. He also stated that VHP leader Kuttappa died during the clash but government is trying to project it as an accidental death. Simha had said that Tipu was a fanatic king and had killed many Hindus and Christians as well.
Following his comments Simha received death treat on facebook which said, “Think before you talk, if you don’t want to die like Kuttappa”. Pratap Simha has not commented on the death threat yet.
On Tuesday, violence broke during Kodagu bandh against government’s decision to celebrate Tipu Jayanti in which VHP leader Kuttappa was killed after sustaining serious injuries on his head.
