Bengaluru: Former minister B J Puttaswamy submitted resignation to the post of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Backward Classes Morcha state president after being disappointed with BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa for not continuing him as an MLC for the second term.
He also wrote a letter to BSY with displeasure and said that he was still unclear as to why he was denied a second tenure as MLC despite several promises.
“I am a leader of the community, moreover, a leader of the backward classes. I am deeply pained as my hard work, commitment and faith went in vain. I don’t know what was my mistake,” he added.
