Bengaluru: As Delhi residents were voting for in the Assembly elections, the Karnataka unit of the BJP used visuals of Muslim women voting with Aadhaar cards to stir up an unintended controversy.
The party tweeted, “Kaagaz Nahi Dikayenge Hum! ! ! Keep the documents safe, you will need to show them again during #NPR exercise.”

This tweet resulted in a controversy as several netizens criticised the BJP in response. Many said that the tweet revealed the communal mindset of the party.
