Bengaluru: BJP State General Secretary and MLC N Ravikumar has warned of a state-wide protest if the state government increases the bus fare again.
Pressing on the government to not increase the bus fare any further, he said that the state government is staging gimmicks to fool people.
“The state government initially imposed Rs 2 cess on petrol and diesel and later reduced it by Rs 2. They are trying to fool the people of the state,” Ravishankar said adding that the BJP has issues if the government wants to bring fuel under GST.
All the states in the nation have their own representatives in GST board so that every state gets to express their opinion regarding the issue, said Ravikumar.
