Bengaluru: Bengaluru police commissioner T Suneel Kumar has won the hearts of many after he was seen saluting a school going kid near Mallya hospital here.
The act which was caught on a video has gone viral over the social media, collecting over 80,000 views and over 1000 shares, with people appreciating the humble approach of the top cop to respond a salute of the schoolboy.
As it happened the boy happened to see the commissioner, when he was coming out of the Mallya Hospital accompanied by few policemen, and he stopped to give him a salute as a mark of respect. Suneel Kumar too responded to his gesture with a salute.
The video was shared with the caption: “A respect given by a uniform to a uniform shows the value of discipline.”
Commenting on the video one person writes, “Great officer. Although ur (sic) in a dignified position, ur (sic) salute to a citizen(boy) has made me speechless. Hats off to u (sic) Sir.”
